Not that one! (ed) but author Ronny Rosenthal has kindly let me put his excellent columns on this website. I will of course continue with my stories, but RR's ramblings are an excellent read and I hope you enjoy them. He has done 3 columns so far, I will start with the Huddersfield review that I have just got through, and I will post the other reports along with a summing up of the opening week of the season from myself.

It's Starting once more!

Bradford kick off their campaign tomorrow against Notts County Both teams have strengthened, in particular, City who have added no less than 9 players to their squad. City's fans will be clamouring for a home win considering they have been tipped by many for promotion to league 1, Notts Co will be happy with a mid table finish considering their flirtation with relegation last term.

All quiet on the transfer front

Rumours continue on the various websites, the key rumour of the summer which is Darren Moore re-signing for the club still refuses to go away, this would be a major coup should it come off.

Further rumours are Robbie Blake, Fabian Delph (Leeds youth), Graeme Lee (ex Doncaster) along with a whole host of other links.

The squad still needs strengthening and I believe that 7 players are due to come into the club, my personal feeling is that one time loan goalkeeper Rhys Evans will be one of them.

We shall see how the squad shapes up in the coming weeks....

In other news....

City's director Glen Ackroyd is offering City season tickets to Halifax fans for £99 due to the Shaymen going bust.

Whilst the 'fax fans are up in arms, business is business and the feeling is if the club don't move then Leeds / Huddersfield will.
